The GFWC Grand Rapids North Star Women’s Club members are united in dedication to always living the volunteer spirit. We are woven together with varying backgrounds, cultures, interests, and experiences. One thread that holds us together – we believe – is the common human heart of us all. We empower and encourage one another through civic engagement, philanthropy, stewardship and most importantly, life-long friendships.
The GFWC Grand Rapids North Star Women’s Club awards scholarships at Itasca Community College and continues to support GRACE House, Advocates for Family Peace, the March of Dimes, the Grand Rapids Public Library, the Itasca County Historical Society, Operation Smile, Five Little Libraries, and other local community services & projects.
The GFWC of Grand Rapids North Star Women’s Club, Grand Rapids, MN is affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Minnesota and is part of the GFWC – General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
Our club is supported by member contributions and annual fundraisers.
